Executive Summary
Yosie Andriani HS is a senior lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) in Marine Natural Product Chemistry application since 2013. Born on Januari 24, in Muara Kelingi, Sumatera Selatan-Indonesia. She completed her primary and secondary education in Palembang-Indonesia and graduating from Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI), Palembang, Indonesia with a Bachelor of Chemistry (Biochemistry) in 1997. She went on to Master degree in Biochemistry field at Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB)-Indonesia in 2001 and PhD program in 2008 at UMT. She completed her master and doctor degree in Applied Biochemistry in 2004 and 2012, respectively. PhD Specializing in Marine Natural Products and its application. Her research focuses on application of extracts, fractions or compounds from the coastal plants as well as marine organisms to prevent and treat some diseases, such as atherosclerosis, hypercholesterolemia, pneumonia, inflammation, and cancer. She has published more than 80 works, including journal articles, proceedings, books, and book chapters. He has lead or co-lead 8 research projects with a total funding value of approximately MYR 952 million and has conducted collaborate with international institution and Universities in Indonesia (under MoU, MoA, LoI/LoA), such as BRIN, ITB, IPB, UNDIP, UNSRI, UNSOED, UNIB, UNG, and UNIMA.
